Wing - Drone delivery

Local shopping by drone

Wing - Drone delivery connects shoppers with participating local businesses and arranges delivery by autonomous aircraft. It is aimed at people who need a small order brought to them without relying on a conventional car or courier route. The app is most useful for nearby, time-sensitive purchases rather than a full weekly shop.

What the app is for

The marketplace brings together selected items from local retailers, with availability based on your location. Depending on the service area, this can include food, household essentials and other everyday needs. You choose from the listings, provide a suitable delivery location and follow the order through the app.

• Browse participating local shops in one place.
• Check whether drone delivery is available at your address.
• Order smaller items without arranging a traditional vehicle delivery.
• Track the order as it moves through the delivery process.

Who should consider it

This is a practical choice for users who live inside an active Wing service area and value convenience for quick local orders. It may also appeal to shoppers interested in electric, autonomous delivery rather than another van trip. Coverage is the main limitation: the service is not available everywhere, and the range of shops and products depends on the local market.

At a glance

Wing - Drone delivery is published by Wing Aviation LLC in the Shopping category. Its rating is 4.81 out of 5 from 2,236 reviews, with 100,000+ installs. Those figures suggest a well-received app, but the real question is whether your address and preferred local businesses are included in its delivery network.
